Today my mom would have turned 100…

My mom wasn’t the most diplomatic person on earth but she had a huge heart and her love for her family never faltered. I miss her sorely. Everyday and especially today.

I go from the first photo to the second, and cannot decide which one I love the most, they both capture so much emotion…

Your Mom's hair is almost exactly like my Grandma's was – she was born in 1892, and was a woman with very strong personality, some would say too strong, if there's such a thing 😉

You look like the picture of happiness in the second shot!

don't let this be a sad day, but at the same time, there's nothing wrong with shedding a tear or two…

    many hugs going your way,

    S

Thank you, SallyBR! My mom had a strong personality too and it came in handy! 🙂

    Hi Farine,

She was a very pretty lady. I think she looks like your daughter. Very beautiful family.

    Hi Farine,

In the first photo, when she was younger, Veronique bears quite a resemblance to her grandmother. Quite beautiful, all of you. Hope you remembered her on her 100th birthday!

Sorry you are having this issue. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. Having had the same problem with various blogs I had commented on I know you need to go to wordpress.com and edit your subscription page. There should be a link in the notifications you received. I hope this helps!
